A San Diego pastor and his wife claim they were interrogated by a county official and warned they will face escalating fines if they continue to hold Bible studies in their home.
The couple, whose names are being withheld until a demand letter can be filed on their behalf, told their attorney a county government employee knocked on their door on Good Friday, asking a litany of questions about their Tuesday night Bible studies, which are attended by approximately 15 people.
"Do you have a regular weekly meeting in your home? Do you sing? Do you say 'amen'?" the official reportedly asked. "Do you say, 'Praise the Lord'?"
The pastor's wife answered yes.
She says she was then told, however, that she must stop holding "religious assemblies" until she and her husband obtain a Major Use Permit from the county, a permit that often involves traffic and environmental studies, compliance with parking and sidewalk regulations and costs that top tens of thousands of dollars.
And if they fail to pay for the MUP, the county official reportedly warned, the couple will be charged escalating fines beginning at $100, then $200, $500, $1000, "and then it will get ugly."

This is a report that explains the damage and worry that the lack of honney bees are causing in the USA. They pollinate crops and produce honey and they are dissapering fast. Where i don't know, but they are going. The threat here is that roughly 1/3 of profitable crops could die without their pollin. Sound firmilliar. "For instance, the state's $45 million apple crop -- the fourth largest in the country -- is completely dependent on insects for pollination, and 90 percent of that pollination comes from honey bees," Frazier says. "So the value of honey bee pollination to apples is about $40 million."
In total, honey bee pollination contributes about $55 million to the value of crops in the state. Besides apples, crops that depend at least in part on honey bee pollination include peaches, soybeans, pears, pumpkins, cucumbers, cherries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.

FairFax high school has nominated it's first gay male (prom queen). It is one that has caused some contreversy in the news as well as among the district. Apparently we are suppose to be loving and fair in our rights now so expect a hard battle coming.

It's amazing to have friends and people that smile with you. Nicole is doing so good. Her counts are at 0.04 which is good. She needs 0.05 to go home which looks like that will happen tomorrow. I just don't understand

I have a hard time with this. Christian (Christian) parents denying there high school students the right to church as form of punishment.

Somehow the word bible teaching got mixed up with all they do is have fun. Well i must say that if they can learn, worship, and do it while having fun then christianity just got more inviting to this lost and dying generation.

Just sad to me that Jesus was punished so we can be in church, but all we can do is self satisfy our pride and deny that's what it was for, hunh!

This was our Generate High outdoor service May 19, 2009. Crazy thing is, you can't tell which one of us had the luekemia. We are wearing the mask to protect her from us. One of the most beautiful things is when family rallies around eachother (topic of the night). Love all you guys!
PS: God obviously new of the situation ahead of time which is why he gave her the perfect shaped head for no hair.

You know every now and then you think what the heck are you thinking? Question for you. Is this okay? Why or why not? I see a shirt that says God hates fags, your going to hell, Obama the antichrist, God hates America (They must be foreigners), Heath in hell (that hurts), You eat your kids (What)? What is the point in any religious expression. This looks like Satan protesting rather than Jesus.

I think Jesus might respond by saying yeah you have fallen short, but did you know that I love you so much that My blood on the cross has already forgiven you, and that i want to have a relationship with you more than you can possibly know. That's what His word says.

Today Generate High went all across the Inland Empire sharing Christ. Todays Generation is bold. Even the first time people were engaging and risking Themselves to be trampled on. It was Beautiful to see them look like the one in whom they share about.

many of them were cussed out, ignored, verbally fought with, cards torn up in their face, and even others puting their hands in our faces. One guy almost fought me (i would have lost, there were 4 of them), but you better believe the point came across. Incredible job and thanks for all the hard work on your part.

What's the point, out of all that 4 people gave thier lives to jesus and will no longer be seperated and live eternity where they don't belong!

Amazing!

There is a time in mans life where he must aknowledge the worth of the one created for his helper and soul mate. I hope for you this happens on a daily bases, but i wanted to make it more public today.

She is a Proverbs 31 wife to the max, a mommy to be, and a friend that is uncomparable. Shes my wife and i love her. She comes home from work, falls asleep for an hour gets back up to come and take care of her girls in her samll group and helps me in my ministry. And to boot she's just flat out hot! You see all i'm trying to say is that when God says to "rejoice in the wife of your youth" I really think that's literal. And so i will do just that. This is just a shout out to my love.

What are you willing to give when you know your called to. This Tuesday will be one of those nights never been done before. The passion in the service will be created by the Holy Spirit and our love for Nicole. Wednesday will follow with even more. I'm asking you to pray how you can help. It will take sacrifice, but it is neccessary for one we love. What most don't know is that she has gone through this before when her body was covered in 98% cancer. After over a year of her life she made it through, but not without cost. Her family ended up losing their house because the amount charged from medical. I will leave it at that.
